I agree here. Let em sweat. Under no circumstances should you buy one at launch. Wait awhile. Even better, get the PS3. Eh, screw em all. Sony sucks too. It's just the way things are today I'm afraid. We made them this way. We just keep shelling out the cash so they have no choice but to bank on taking advantage of us dummies.
Real cautious techies would never buy a Microsoft console until most of the kinks were sorted out. I would never pay that much for a first revision. Even funnier are the nutfaes that pre-ordered. These people are just trying to show off. Those of us with high-end PC's are in no hurry to hand over more cash to the evil empire.
