  1. Re:Safety first means safety last? on Britain to Pilot GPS Speed Governors · · Score: 0

There are many times where you might want to go faster than the speed limit. For instance, say you are passing a car on a 2 lane road when another car turns onto the road in front of you. You either need to slam on the breaks and get back behind the car you were passing if traffic behind you has not closed up the gap, or speed up to get in front of the car. I spent over 10 years as a paramedic before working in IT and have seen many instances where speed has killed or injured, but I have also seen where people going to slow has done the same thing.

Yes I understand how SPF works and I do own multiple domains. It will prevent some spammers from using your domain to forge spam. What I am saying is that give it a couple weeks and they will find another way to get arround it and/or come up with some other method altogether.

It might work a little at first, but within a couple weeks at most the spammers will find another way arround it as they have everything else.

Since eBay owns PayPal I am wondering if they will allow google to introduce their service on their site? If they are allowed to compete with PayPal on eBay austions, what kind of fees will eBay come up with to cover lost revanue from PayPal users? I agree 100% that compatition is good for the market and there needs to be more than 1 online service like PayPal and the google wallet.

Just because someone gives you a way to do something does not make it legal. If you go into any public library that has a photo copier and take a book off the shelf then copy it they have given you the means to make a copy, but it is still illegal to do it.

Always use a temporary email account for anything questionable. Thing is, I have 9 email accounts for different things from my business to temp accounts. Yes they will put it all over the net. But, there are a lot of "non tech" people that use mp3 players that will not trust anything except from sony as well as not know better to use a temp email account. JUst by sending them an email will not give them enough just cause to go after someone for copyright infringement, but could be used with other evidence to give just cause.

Soney will send you a "crack" for the copy protection, but first you must send tham an email complaining about it. The Question is, what are they going to do with that email address? Will they start trying to go after those addresses for copyright infringement?

I do not care if it is windows, Lunux, BSD, unix or whatever OS you use, they all have their strengths and weaknesses. I like both windows and *nix OS's depending on what I am trying to do. I would not go into an office and just put linux on every desktop just because "it is much better than windows." There are a lot of other things to consider such as training costs and is there an available port to any business critical programs. I am beginning to hate these "my OS is better than your OS" arguements.
