Tarantella isnt all that cheap, but if you dont need a lot of Enterprise management functionality, they offer a stripped down version called something like the Linux Starter Pak for under 50 concurrent users, that is signficantly cheaper.
And no, I dont work for them, but I did like their product on Solaris and their tech staff seems to be very unix-saavy, even though they support Windows too.
I could be wrong, but from my understanding javassh and mindterm both run a telnet/ssh client as a java applet that you still download thru your browser and run from your local machine as an applet. It may have some preset values (domain name, IP addie, login name), but it still initiates a connection from the local client to a running ssh server. If they are blocking telnet/ssh, then you are still S-O-L.
Yeah...same thing happened to Dan Rather and CBS this morning. And I wanted the same type of pond scum dealt with as well. Now if only someone wouldnt have modded down my comment about it before. Slashdot rails against poor decision making ALL the time, well this is a PRIME example.
Mark me off-topic perhaps, but when flipping around for any new information on this tragedy, I landed on CBS w/ Dan Rather and they had a "caller" who said they have a piece of shuttle debris in their backyard. When he got on live w/ Dan, after a lil converation he said he had "one of BabaBooeys teeth in his back yard" and then proceeded to call Dan an idiot. While I am all for satire and perhaps some playful interruptions of fluffy Hollywood events, or even boring pontificating news interviews, this was extremely TASTELESS in my opinion that someone would use this opportunity to promote Howard Stern's aging BabaBooey B.S. I hope the person involved gets his just due (originally said:the shit kicked out of him) when someone figures who he is.
I suggest people send a polite note to PCI's Media & Analyst Contact (lsherwin@vtm-inc.com as listed on http://www.pcisig.com/membership/contact_us). I think everyone agrees that we would prefer the site to come back, if perhaps with a little TM deference to PCI-SIG.
If everyone flames them out, then all that might do is put their backs up even more, and might actually instruct their lawyers to go for "broke".
This is not to say that Mr. Boemler's "Rants" so to speak are unfair...his going "nuclear" in my opinion is not only free speech, but righteous indignation by someone with the right to be.

Primenet.com still has shell account access and national dialup access. But they were bought out by Global Frontiernet or something. So new customers may not get shell access necessarily, but perhaps if you poke around they will give it to you.
Obsidian Communication system (http://www.obsidian.co.za/) is a pretty cool modular system. They offer web based email, contact mgmt, message board, user administration (a la Webmin), and open module integration for your own web based apps, hooked into their infrastructure. Site is in South Africa, so it might be a lil slow from where you are, but its worth it. Its GPL'd, and they offer a web based CVS system if you want to upload your changes to them. In fact, they encourage it.

Sorry, but the site was in Japanese. Sony has made Tivo units before, but I am sure their contract with Tivo is probably non-exclusive for DVRs.
(FP Maybe?)

Not just Acrobat, you can also get a adware/cheap-shareware version of a PDF "printer driver" at: http://www.pdf995.com/
Try using the registry mod on http://www.acronymfinder.com to give you right-click to review acronyms
