Everyone seems to mention, when introducing perl, it's "natural language" roots and inspirations. What i've never seen, is why such complex rules and DWIM logic are held to be a superior desing. Any thoughts or ressources on the non-historical advantages of such rules over more restricted/formalized forms of expression?
