You and your friends stood in the rain for over a decade. No one ever made any secret about this date, they even extended it. Windows 7 has been out for years now and for the couple of hundred dollars at most you could have paid for XP you got your use.
Why shouldn't they? Embedded licensees as you point out have a separate license agreement. MS want's people to buy new Windows, they are a business after all.
There's no where to. Microsoft provide no way to report bugs in their desktop products. I have half a dozen threads on the technet forums reporting bugs - some years old - that I bump once a month with no response ever from MS. This is where I've provided extensive documentation, screenshots, process to reproduce etc.
Don't think for even a second that you even matter to MS.
What are you talking about? It's not the mum and dads at home running XP anyone is even talking about - it's the businesses with tens of thousands of PCs still on XP that are the issue.
Seriously think of the statistics; thousands of PCs in businesses and the random mix of remaining XP machines at home, and you really think that's what 90% of people do?
"shiotsu-used-car.com"... This article should be pulled and whoever edited this fired. This is getting beyond a joke and the editors have completely failed to see a 100% obvious spam website. The video is nothing but 6 images with fade outs and ins. Fucking retards.
Before AdBlock I got so frustrated when visiting some websites because of the ridiculous choice of the devs to force the ads to load before the rest of the page, ads loaded on another server. So I had to sit there for 20 seconds looking at "Waiting for x.net" because the advertisers couldn't pay for proper hosting.
Now when I click on a site it just loads.
This BS prompted me to go out and find something like AdBlock. This was both the site owner and the advertisers fault.
Anyway, who said the internet has to be a "commercial" thing? What, I won't get to see what fucking celebrity is fucking who or have YouTube tell me what to do, any of a million companies track me and everything about me?
What will end up happening is someone/multiple someones will be paid off and a law banning this type of software will be passed. I'd love to think website owners would actually have to innovate and find another way, but there's too much money in this.
I could do the same as this in SimEarth 20 years ago...
It had a pretty accurate height map of the planet it seemed and showed what it would look like terraformed. Maybe not in as super cool graphics but still.
So why does this guy get a Slashdot mention for something I could do at 8?
Should probably of added about the atmosphere these kind of people create that makes Linux intimidating and makes you feel as if everything that breaks is your fault.
You blame someone else? How is you not doing anything about losing your rights anyone's fault but yours?
What have you personally done to stand up for your rights? Have you taken your concerns to management or talked with your union (if part of one)?
As an Australian I cannot begin to fathom what it must be like to live in that shit hole over there - you work for nothing, with no rights, 90% of people are fucking broke, half your country is retarded and refuses to allow public healthcare so all those poor people stay sick and poor and while all this happens you allow your country to spend TRILLIONS on defence - while people die from basic medical conditions that would cost a small percentage of your defence budget!?!?
Do you even get how fucking mentally handicapped your entire country seems? AND IT'S PEOPLE LIKE YOU WHO ARE TO BLAME FOR NOT DOING ANYTHING.
The next button is broken on the page via Chrome - can't view any other photos.
But then why would I want to see a slideshow of photos that don't even take up a quarter of my screen? And I'm only running 24 inches - do these sites get how stupid they present this information?
What are you on about saying the Ativ is a Galaxy SIII?
It almost identical to the a Galaxy SII. Dual Core CPU as well (SIII is QUAD CORE), EXACTLY the same case just bigger and silver. Fuck, even the Windows button is the same button as a Galaxy SII with a Windows Icon on it.
VMWare Workstation is better than full blown Hyper V even IMO:
Better inter-connectivity with your desktop (IE. copy and paste works 100%).
Better video performance.
Better usability (it isn't the same key combination for ctrl alt del as will lock the host unlike Hyper V if you're RDPd).
Better network configuration BY FAR (Last time I checked you can configure 10 virtual networks, each with DHCP if required and as either NAT, Direct to your external network or Private).
But then VMWare Workstation costs about $200. If money is your main factor then buy Windows 8 with that $200 instead and have inbuilt Hyper V that will do basically what you want and have Windows 8 to learn as well (But you can always learn Windows 8 virtualized with the 180 day trial). Hyper V is a good product for it's price (free basically) and does do something things better (ie Console Connection, Memory Management etc).
If money isn't your main factor and you can afford $200 then I highly recommend buying VMWare Workstation - For what you want to do (visualize on your own desktop) it is the best product available by far.
I can already walk into pretty much any major store tha in Australia and use "PayPass" or whatever it is, just put my card near the reader for about 2 seconds and it's paid. It is great for small transactions, but shits met it's a Credit transaction, not an Eftpos transaction.
So can someone tell me what this Google Card does that my current card from the bank doesn't??
People are too stupid to know better sometimes, hence banning smoking and drinking for minors, banning drugs that cause damage etc.
There is no functional reason a human being needs a 32oz sugar filled drink. It's something that eventually kills and costs society worldwide probably trillions in health care and such.
If a government truly cared about it's people it wouldn't allow companies to brainwash it's citizens or sell food in quantities that cause disease and eventually kill.
IMO ban all advertisement of fast food, confectionery and high energy foods (based on % of daily calorie/kj requirements), begin a 10 year move to regulate food for the energy content where these foods are slowly removed from society. At the same time ban smoking and put a huge levie on alcohol except wine, ban cheap/cask wine.
People are too stupid for their own good. Crazy obesity rates, lung cancer and other smoking related disease and damage from alcohol and violence caused by alcohol prove this. No one can dispute this. I'm not saying sit there and control what a person eats, but if a person wants to have something sugary or fatty I'm sure having to actually prepare or make it themself and not buy 12 twinkies for $2 or whatever or 32oz soda will reduce obesity to a level such as the first half of the 20th century when foods like this weren't as easily available.
Would be better than the trillions wasted worldwide and probably billions of people dying prematurely due to being basically brain washed into over eating and not performing physical activity.
Really think about it. The government allows corporations to murder for profit in the form of sugar or fat laden food. Companies use advertisement to brain wash people into killing themselves, they know exactly 100% what they're doing, they spend billions on research into this and know exactly the effects of their advertisements. And the government lets this happen all while they pickup a lot of the bill for the damage.
But then if they do the opposite and actually lookout for the public's interest you attack that??
So let me get this straight...
When you put these super resilient creatures in space with no protection from radiation most of them die.
But if you send comparatively weak men to the moon where they're exposed to the exact same radiation they all survive and none died soon after from cancer?
Makes sense...
This same country has parts of the population believing that your TV can be detected from a van outside your house. They're trying the same tactic with the internet... Nothing new.
Prisoners get housing and get paid a pittance for their labor too. And they are not allowed to say "no" either. Either work or get thrown into "the hole". Without freedom to choose it is all meaningless. It also dislocates the labor market by keeping people from going to where a shortage may be.
Why is there no choice for Chinese workers? These Foxconn style factories are the best work places available for them, they've already CHOSE to be there. People line up for days when new jobs are available. They can leave any time, they just won't have as good a job. Same as if I quit my job today here.
Just bought 5 PCs from Dell, with Windows 7 Pro. No downgrading or BS... What are you talking about?
You and your friends stood in the rain for over a decade. No one ever made any secret about this date, they even extended it. Windows 7 has been out for years now and for the couple of hundred dollars at most you could have paid for XP you got your use.

The world isn't just what you know...
How do you update them with non root access on Linux?
What's that? You need to enter the Root password to do so? As in log in as the administrator?
Take the penguins cock out of your mouth.

Watch all the Linux Fanboys jump on this post
Should probably of added about the atmosphere these kind of people create that makes Linux intimidating and makes you feel as if everything that breaks is your fault.
Or maybe that 54% is to do with the fact the poll was on the internet?
It's not the 21st yet...

Because "American Intelligence Officials" are always reliable. They've never lied about anything ever before.
