I have seen lots of punk, metal, techno, etc. so far, but it seems not too many/.ers are indie rockers! Although I have to say I did see someone put down Wilco.
Here's the list:
Son Volt Wilco Belle & Sebastian (the best) Modest Mouse Superchunk Pavement
Other stuff: Tom Waits (Closing Time) REM (anything) Radiohead
Man, you are such an unbelievably courageous guy...
I admire you for insulting Rob so eloquently. And, on top of that, you didn't even have the balls to say who you were. If this is the first post you've seen here that isn't about Linux then you must be pretty damn blind (on top of being a huge jerk).
We don't need chumps like you here so why don't you do something that suits your IQ better, like beating your head against a wall or something.

I am a little annoyed that so many people have the same attitude as you do towards software development, the "it wouldn't kill the user if..." attitude. Keep in mind that for most people, computers are tools, not toys. And why shouldn't software be dummy-proof just like other tools? Imagine if everytime you bought a new toaster or a new television you had to read a long manual, and then spend an hour or two setting it up, and then weeks or months learning how to use it!! Think about it. How many people do you know who say things like "I'd use computers more often, but I can't figure out how to boot the internet" or "I'll start using computers when the become easy to use". We need to start making software intuitive for the computer-illiterate!!
