I second that. Your website is very dull-looking and poorly structured. I clicked through a few pages before I realized that the content was on the front page. The reason I didn't see it straight away was that the first "article" was titled "Letter to the reader" which made it look like a members' management page.
Oh, and yes, definitely more prominent AdSense. Your AdSense block is ridiculously small and too hidden away.
