  1. Re:Okay, answer me one simple question on SETI Disrupted By Cell Phones in Airplanes? · · Score: 1

I'm guessing because the big antenna doesn't pick up the signals down on earth. But maybe, they forbid them in their lab...

  2. People talking on cell phones are LOUD on SETI Disrupted By Cell Phones in Airplanes? · · Score: 1

On a long flight... considering almost everyone has a cell phone, this will get annoying real fast! I don't what it is, but people tend to talk louder on their cell phones even when the person on the other end can hear perfectly. I agree on the wireless part only for laptops, pdas, etc. I don't mind people typing ;).

  3. Re:The Film Generally=Death. I hope not here. on Simpsons Film in Preproduction · · Score: 1

I believe when the movie plays in theaters in two years... we will see the end of The Simpsons on TV. After 17 seasons (19 in two years), I think it's ok for them to run out of ideas! They will be missed, but hopefully shows like Family Guy will be there to pursue the cartoon legacy ;).

  4. Marketing Scheme on Mac Game Devs Speak on Intel Move · · Score: 1

I'm just wondering how the marketing of these new intel macs will go. Just not long ago, they were showing bench test results "proving" that the G5 PPC is faster than the Pentium 4. I'm not sure people will switch to Mac because more games are available, I think more games will always available for PCs. Also, with all the new gaming consoles coming out, maybe gamers don't need Mac or PCs to play games.

  5. Next Ipod Commercial on Apple Switching to Intel · · Score: 1

Cool people in black with cool music and colored backgrounds and cue... the intel music (to do do do). I think I'm going to be sick :P.

  6. Batteries on Laptops Outsell Desktops · · Score: 1

Normaly, how long do your batteries last on your desktops ;) ? I sometimes feel like comparing laptops and desktops is like comparing apples and oranges (or Apples and PCs) ! I can't live without my PowerBook, but when I'm at home... the desktop is a nice change (especially for a bigger screen).
