Fortunately throwing developers and money at a software/web development problem and hoping enough will stick to get the job done doesn't work very well -- if at all.
The more people working on a project the more time spent in meetings (a nice name for the battles in the turf wars) and the less time spent on the project.
I would much rather compete with a really large development group than a small group that has to much work to do to worry about grabbing power and credit.
