I really want one too. a hundred dollars is not much, especially to me as that is about £50 here in uk. (although i'd probs have to pay a ton in shipping). The only complaint i have is its seemingly extremely low storage space. i guess i could always use a big pendrive too though. They should definately get these onto the commercial market, but distinguish them somehow from the 3rd world ones. the last thing we want is some mafia cartel in the third world stealing them from all the kids to put on ebay.
I think they might need a little more than thier eyeballs. What about the time the american troops shot up a BBC Van covered in BBC identification and stickers?
What about the recent "hero" in his plane taking out a british soldier?
What we need on the battlefield is real identification of targets. This device is probably a good implementation of such a device, but more similar are needed. obviously he can't just rig up a load and sell them however.

What happened to blackcomb? IIRC it was in development before longhorn, and was gonna be released after it. Is Vienna the same project?
