I have an amendment. Once an unsecured wireless signal leaves private property, it becomes public domain. Anything left unsecured on the network through which the signal translates is also public domain.
You can't be considered spying if you are listening to a public speech even when the speaker is accidently speaking in public. Think of all the paparazzi and magazines that could be sued if ease dropping on conversations in public was illegal.
