What is so hard on to check checkbox and click on the next button?
That may be hard if you are only used to work on the command line.
If you want to make your life hard use Linux or an Unix.
If you want to make your life easy use Windows.
You don't need a hotmail account to use MSN, you only need a microsoft passport account.
Startup MSN, click on "sign on with a different e-mail adress", In the popup screen that show up you can click on a link to get a.Net passport.
More and more application will be writen in Java,
on sourceforge the number of Java projects is just behind C++, just a few hundred.
There are a lot of Java enabled cell phones,
the game market for Java is currently not realy big but is growing and will grow more in the future when more tools come availible for Java game development.
There are a lot of other areas were Java shows up,
realtime software, at NASA for ground-site control but in the future (2009) also on the mars rover.
Or the unmanned aircraft (scaneagle) of boeing, parking tickets systems, in the Formula One, the Automotive Industry and healthcare.
It is just getting hard to find an industry (that uses software) where Java is not in.
There is still lot of code written in C++ but
I think it will be hard to stay popular and most used
computer language, but we will see that within the next 5 to ten years.
