  1. Limitations of technology on Biases in Simulation Video Games · · Score: 5, Insightful

I don't think we should expect games to be perfect simulations. The designers are dealing with fixed resources and obviously need to make limits in places. We shouldnt expect game simulations to be on par with academic or scientific ones. Games are for fun, not perfection.

  2. Re:Tricky.. on AMD Alleges Intel Compilers Create Slower AMD Code · · Score: 1

If everyone involved had a certain level of class, then yes I agree, but the IT business has become a very cut-throat business. I seriously doubt Intel is the only company crippling competitors, so I think to survive companies need to attack or be attacked. Is it right? Oh course not, but it does seem to be necessary.

  3. Tricky.. on AMD Alleges Intel Compilers Create Slower AMD Code · · Score: 1

That is some very devious work on Intels part. On the other hand, I can see from an Intel perspective how if they write the compiler, they can make it do as they please. AMD needs to come out with their own that slows down Intel chips!

I think it would be difficult enough having to find so many people to assist you. I can only imagine serving that sentance in Detroit, i'd rather get sick.

  5. Academic on Death Penalty For Hackers? · · Score: 1

"quoting one academic as recommending even well, the death penalty " I would hate to have that academic as a prof, I can only imagine what he would do if you were caught plagerising.
