I agree, I do the same thing with Gmail. It has a great forwading system, makes it very easy to manage several email accounts through one (reading, anyways).
I've known people in similar job enviroments and things like this are more common than what you would think, just (most of the time, atleast) not on this grand of scale.
It's not proven whether it will or will not work, don't be so grim about it! There're still resources for other projects, It's not like the world is collectivily using all of its resources on this.

I don't think most people understood. Bobby Knight, former IU Basketball Coach (Now Texas Tech), was known for throwing chairs onto the basketball court when he was angry.
Maybe it was just a big thing in Indiana?
I say we all share files that are legitimate, but use file names of copyrighted material. Maybe just static similar to what the RIAA did with networks such as Kazaa. Share songs that are highly distorted or non functional.
It would be fun to watch them waste their money going to court costs over something as trivial as that.
