Dumbest thing I have ever read about ABS. If ABS is making control of your "much WORSE" then you must be trying to fight it or something. ABS is great, just push down the pedal as hard as you can and let the computer stop the car for you.
It is possible (don't know much about Sentra's) that you have front disk brakes and rear drum brakes (still pretty common). In that configuration ABS isn't as effective as on a 4 wheel disk system but even in that configuration the computer can pump the brakes far faster than you could ever hope for. Not only that most ABS can control each wheel seperately. In a 4 wheel disk 3 or 4 channel ABS the stopping capabilites of your car in dry and defintely wet conditions is FAR superior to what you will obtain by yourself.
The Court is done with oral arguments this session. The session ends June 30 so even if they decided to hear the case it won't even have the possibility to be heard until October when the next session begins. The only thing the Court is doing know is releasing opinions on cases they heard during the current session. And they still decide if they will hear certain cases too.
The slashdot headline would lead one to believe that this was a Supreme Court ruling. This is not the case. The Court simply did not want to hear this case. This does not mean that the lower court's ruling is precedent (although it is in that court's jurisdication). There can be any number of reasons why the Court would refuse to hear the case from not thinking the case had merit, they didn't feel like it, or they did not have the resources. It is quite annoying to me when people mix up a Court ruling and a simple refusing to hear the case. Of course the media doesn't help matters much by many times calling these things rulings.

So should we hold construction workers who help build a house that gets burglarized be held personally responsible?
