I hope to like hell this is more than a rebranding of StarOffice to GoogleOffice. Google's brand may help push adoption of an alternative to M$ Office and their programming talent should allow the software to develop quickly, but Google risks losing their reputation as innovators.
... Microsoft Office 12 will have massive GUI changes to it.
If history is any guide, M$ will offer a "switch to classic view". They knew some people wouldn't like the color changes and new start menu in XP, and implemented easy ways revert back to the classic view. I would bet on M$ implementing the option to revert back to classic view.
A bit torrent implementation on existing digital PVR cable boxes could allow the cable companies to offer much more content than exists today on pay-per-view.
Its not just about being profitable, stock is all about growth.
Not quite, the stock market is about expectations - specifically, the expected value of all future dividends. Because the stock fell by 30% has less to do with the profitability, but rather a change in the expectation of future profits. A stock could drop drastically if its forecasted growth were revised from 100% to 50%. Conversely, a stock price would rise if the market expectation of growth increased from 2% to 5%.
There are some people who argue that the price of a stock is determined what the masses think they can sell it for in the future. This is known as the "greater fools theory". It is widely dismissed and its practitioners view the stock market as one grand Ponzi scheme. The Amway view of the stock market is held by many, but rarely by the market makers.
The question is whether the cost of hydrogen processing will be more or less expensive than the cost of refining oil.
Not Exactly
I think the correct question is: How much will it cost to drive one mile using hydrogen? or what price for a barrel of oil will equalize the price?
ABS, Stability control, Airbags, etc are all Mercedes innovations which they allow other car companies to use.
Nice plug for Mercedes, but you may want to check your facts. ABS was invented by Bosch Air bags were first offered on Cadillacs, Oldsmobiles, and Buicks (all GM products)
