  1. There are some honest people... on Napster Clone With Pay Per Download · · Score: 1
Yes, yes...we all know that most of you will continue paying nothing for your music. Most people wouldn't adopt a scheme like this.

I don't know if this would work for the big artist (RIAA Fiends), but there are honest, nice people, out there that would like to give back to the small artist. It's already starting to work to some extent in the Blogger Community using a different serivice...

I for one would love to see micropayments take their place on the web. The only problem I would have is giving away too much.

Well, I should restate that in the name of political correctness, less I be slaughtered by the moderators.

It may not be a rip off, but I've seen I.U. around for quite a while, while this company is a general newcomer, with a less than spectacular bussiness approach. Just covering my ass...

Future Horizons is a total ripoff of yet another company, Information Unlimited ( even I laugh out loud when I visit either of their sites ).

But then again, they've had that "taser" that ionizes air to allow the transmission of electricity through air for a 2 years. And that's been verified. You never know...

They can sue about 1-10 people fine without drying up their resources, but what happens when we all go out and register domains and parody them. They'll have to divert resources away from corrupting the youth of america ( Eh, see, propoganda works for both sides ). So get out there and take a domain.

    I for one am registering: NoFishing.org , a parody of NoFishing.net .

Here are some domains that you can have (or just register NoFishing.org before me):

And then there's always the lesser domains.

It's already been invented.I'm sure most of you have already heard of this but anyway:

Just get a hold of one of the older Sony Handicams with Nightvision and hack it. There are many sites on the net which will guide you through it, like: This Site

I know these aren't exactly glasses, but with a little work...you could make a pretty discrete system.

    It's called "doublethink" in George Orwell's 1984:

Holding two seemingly contradictory ideas in one's mind at the same time.

I've seen it before, many times, and it's only getting worse...Not saying that I'm not effected by it as well.

  9. List of 2.5" Drive Vendors on Flat Panel Linux Box for $99? · · Score: 2

To be nice I thought I'd be provide some links to 2.5" HDs and Accessories:

eCost - A listing of some notebook (2.5 mostly) hard drives

PriceTrack - A listing on 1.0 to 3.9 gig Hard Drives (some may not be 2.5)

More 2.5 Drive Comparisions - Just more of the same

IDE Connectors - May or may not be what your looking for

    Hope it helped,
