To bad those numbers aren't per capita. If you consider that the population of the United States is roughly 9 times that of Canada. Then Canada has more removal requests per capita.
If you believe that the 2nd amendment is outdated they you should start an organization who's stated purpose is to remove it. I doubt you'll get much traction but go ahead.
I too first experienced the wonders of computing on an IBM PC Jr. I remember writing basic programs for it. My parents bought it and later handed it down to me when they upgraded to a 486.
What does everyone think? If the kernel developers decide to include xen in the kernel will they drop support for UML? I think they should decide which is more used and include only that one to keep the kernal from becoming bloated.
I love gimp but I always felt that the interface was a little strange. I am glad that somebody is looking into making using the gimp a little more user friendly. However I don't think ripping off PhotoShop is the best way to do that as I'm not super fond of the PhotoShop interface either.
Now this may not count but I work at Novell and we are transitioning to being an all linux company every one in my department is running NLD or Suse 9.3 Pro. and have been for almost a year. Obviously we are a linux company and you would expect that we used linux for our desktops. But it just goes to show that a large corperation can do it.
Maybe I'm dense but what does this mean? How will this effect the end user? Does this mean that the price of internet service will go down? Maybe who understands the document a little better could explain.
I think you are both thinking like geeks. I am intersted in getting vonage and I think it is a really cool technology. But my mom just thinks vonage is a company with funny ads selling phone service, she doesn't know what VOiP is and doesn't care. I would feel safe in saying that most non-geeks don't know, don't care, and probably won't drop thier pots line for some time (a couple of years or more.)

I work for Novell Support and let me tell you nothing could be more true. We are the red headed step children of I.T. departments everywhere.

Man you know your joke sucked when you get a response like this. Sorry to have inflicted it on all of you.
I thought gorm was that damn granola stuff that my parents always made me eat on a hike.

the --i-am-a-dummy is an alias to a less unsulting option --safe-updates
Yeah lets mimic "industry standard" software and not innovate. That way our software is sure to be mainstream.
