The corporate culture of Microsoft prevents them from producing anything of use to common market because, well, they're a bunch of out of touch dorks who wouldn't know something useful to their non-geeky neighbors if it landed on their faces and wiggled, so to speak. (I had the pleasure of making the acquaintance of the culture of Silicon Valley this year, and I know this to be true.)
The need to hire "cool" product people, give them bucketloads of money and unlimited creative license. (And I mean cool, as a point tangential to any coolness their particular corporate culture can perceive.)
I am also available for children's parties.
