ZDTV was bought out by someone close to or part of Microsoft or something, so the show started to focus on windows.
It was steven allen, the co-fownder of micosoft. He owned tech tv before he sold it to comcast.
But after it went to techtv they did still have a lot of linux stuff, and would always tell people not to use internet explorer, and promoted mac and linux (even freeBSD a few times).
g4 is for the ones with an xbox, or some other gaming device in their house making them a trendy-geek (not the real geek who knows stuff, the one who just pretends he/she does) or hard-core gamer.
