John Hume is the leader of the SDLP (a catholic party not affiliated with terrorisim). David Trimble, former leader of the Ulster Unionist party lost his seat in the last general election and was forced to resign from the party.
I don't think giving the nobel prize to a man affiliated with terrorisim is a great idea.
