You forgot most of the best ones! Most people don't realize how strong the PS3's lineup is this year, because there are several high profile new franchises.

It's very competitive with XBOX360's fantastic 2007 lineup, and this is only the first year of the PS3, so developers are only just starting to warm up with it. I can't wait to see what Team ICO is doing with it. I think the hatred for Sony mostly comes as a rejection of the high price (which, thankfully, they're dropping), but Sony does deserve some credit for the sub 1% failure rate (compared to 360's 20%-30%) and creating such a strong lineup so early. The PS3's had its ups and downs, but in the end, it'll be a major contender.
Personally, I feel like every system this generation will be worth buying. So save up!

Of course they will, and why shouldn't they? If a cheaper, better version of your product or service becomes available, you need to improve your own or find something else to do. Record companies market and distribute music. The internet does it better, for free. It is not our responsibility to change our practices, it is the record labels' responsibility to change theirs.
