The best feature of my TI-85 was (and still is) its programmability. Programming games for the TI-85 was a great way to pass the time in Geometry when you've already learned SOH-CAH-TOA. (Look it up.)

Mac OS X has built-in file encryption as well (FileVault). It encrypts the files in your home directory but doesn't encrypt the whole filesystem.
