A lot of the people who buy this thing, will be buying it to go along with their other Nintendo handhel, just because it looks cool. Then some people who have been considering a handheld will buy it because it's a seemingly non-threatening (cute and cheap) introduction to the world of hand-helds. THen when the price comes down at holiday sales, people will buy it as a gift for that gamer they know.
Is there anyone in the world that wouldn't want to receive this thing as a gift?
I wouldn't be surprised if instead of a 3-way race between the consoles, that the Revolution will break away from the competition. So most people will get a revolution (it'll be cheapest, and have the kind of games impossible on the other consoles) and then it's a choice of either the 360 or the PS3.
