Hosting companies would be wise to avoid Microsoft, but so would Sony (Play Station 2), RIM (Smart Phone), Adobe (PDF, Flash), etc.
If I owned a software company, I would declare war on Microsoft. - Remember that every dollar you give M$ is ever additional dollar they can use against you. - Ensure that your products worked on Microsoft, but also Mac and Linux.

So that's 900 * 5.14% = 46.26
That still seems odd.
300 sites times 5.14 % = 15.42 sites.
How is 0.42 of a domain clearly fake?
