I think its rather funny that the first line in the linked ad is "There has never been an iPod that can do this...". But wait, there has been many many many PDAs and smartphones that can.... oh and better! Plus besides the whole internet statement, it runs safari! Is it my imagination or does safari no support the full HTML/DHTML/JavaScript specification in the first place. about the only browser i know of that supports the specs properly is Firefox isn't it?? I have not had alot to do with safari, but I have had to alter a few websites to display on it properly!

This is amasing, by the looks of everyones comments I am a bit behind on this one. As this is the first tiny PC I have seen, but based on its specs you could run a cut down ubuntu on this (from a memory card) and use it as a DNS server! If this kind of development continuess i could imaging my rack cabinet being reduced to a shoe box! Except the web servers that is. If they where affordable that is. But just amasing!

    What a load of crap!

    Where have you been?

"A larger OS will of course use more resources. This does not surprise me in the least anyway since I am sure close to 1/3 of the people who buy new PC's get 1GB of ram or even less nowadays....and with less then 1gb and even 2gb of ram vista will bog down the system when running anything but word processing/email."

I am really sick of hearing this crap! It wasnt that long ago you could do just about anything you wanted on your PC with only 256 or 512mb of ram. Unless you wanted to do some high end multimedia or development, and that was running on XP.

Now all of a sudden its the users fault that Vista runs like crap because they didn't double all the specs of their PC first!

What is the point of developing faster processors and ram if idiots are prepared to except an OS that runs like crap just doing word processing on the latest and greatest tech!

I mean really! If youre that happy with bad performance go back and run XP on a Pentium 100! Because thats about the same performance you will get upgrading a standard PC to run Vista!

No one should have to double the specs of their machine to send email or browse the web on the newest OS!

If you upgrade to the latest OS, it should work fine on your current hardware! Sure if you want bells and whistles or you want to play games, put in some more hardware to get the performance you want!

But the average person should be able to go out and buy the latest mid range machine running the newest OS and be able to see a marked difference in how fast their machine runs! Even if they are only sending emails and writing docs!

Why dont you see a problem with the fact that you now have to spend more money putting heaps of ram into your PC just to run the newest version of windows at a sub standard level!

I donâ(TM)t think Microsoft really "design" software! they do make or develop it.... but I think design is just taking it a bit far. Design would infer they think out the process carefully. Which I think history has proven otherwise. But hey, if they can create something useful for all OS's to use... they may actual start doing well again!

Ohh yeah i just cant wait for this, Since M$ has such a good reputation for improving other peoples work, let alone there own. I mean if you consider how much more efficent and effective Vista is. These new displays should be fantastic..... NOT!

Actually, I have received multiple CD copies of both 7.04 and 8.04. They always arrive within a few weeks of ordering and I always get some stickers too! What are you entering for your reason for wanting them 'Required for my Ubuntu WMD!'

But... If you want it quick, download it, if you want to me ridiculed by your other geeky friends... buy it from Best Buys!
