I have been exclusively using Canon digital (Axx line) cameras, and I can say that they are the most durable and reliable electronic products (and cameras) that I have owned. Despite being dopped, getting wet, getting scratched and in other ways abused, they have always pulled through.
During the recent comet impactor mission, the accuracy needed to strike the probe onto the comet seemed to be at the limit of our abilities.

Agreed. Private efforts are always better, but government efforts and funding $$$ are many, many years ahead in this area.
Here is the best test flight of all, IMO. Full ignition was not achieved. However, termainal velocity was achieved. P.S. Does anyone else wonder if this is the state of this contest?
