I get 3-5 credit card applications a DAY - and take the time to recycle everything but the reply envelope - which if postage is paid, I seal right up empty and return to the company. My last mass-return mailing contained a minimum of 20 empty envelopes from Capital One. What's in my envelope? NOTHING AT ALL. If more people would do this, we could crush these marketers of garbage in a day.
