I downloaded it a month ago, and the default search engine IS Google. There is a little greyed out text and all searches go through google - I changed no search settings.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned what they would do in order to target these ads? I mean, they would likely snope out what you typed, to whom, where you visited, what you run, idle time, music CDs, DVDs, etc etc etc. I'd be concerned. As someone else already said, no way in hell for work.
And to be honest, not for personal use either. Let me do a little research if I want something.
