    If Bush supporters represent the brightest and best this country has to offer, or even the biggest fraction of the whole, we're really fucked.

    The majority of voters did not vote for Bush in the last election. His support (in the polls) has dropped since then.

    Optical mice do not work well on glass desktops or surfaces that have certain variations in surface color (such as hickory).

    I agree with most everything that you said; I don't think that it will save on pilots or manpower though - somebody still has to control it and it is another maintenance item for the ground crew.

    Depends on how large the bonus for reporting findings before the release... I am sure they are paid well to start with.

    If the accounts are closed, are the pages still cached on other servers (such as google)? There might be a considerable time lag between closing an account and having the data "disappear" from the internet.

    I have been trying to filter through the conflicting reports over the years to decide what I believe about the condition of the ozone layer. It seems that there are several contributors to the condition and we don't have a good handle on their interactions or significance of contribution to the depletion or recovery of the ozone. If I understand correctly this article would have me believe that if I make a personal sacrifice to "help" the ozone layer it may contribute but my failure to make that sacrifice may be outweighed by some naturally occurring phenomenon that keeps the environment in balance...

    The Bush family home in Kennebunkport, ME was heavily damaged in a tropical storm in 1991 and did not seem to change either one of their stances on emissions.
