Halo was originally demoed at Macworld 1999 by Bungie as a Mac only game, shipping later that year. It was after it was demoed Bungie was bought by Microsoft (and didn't ship for Mac for another 5 years).
All that MS changed was improved graphics (as you would expect 2 years later).
