  2. Sending emails to hotmail on Hotmail vs Goodmail · · Score: 1
I operate a server that send between 34 000 to 37 000 emails to Hotmail per month,
    • we have configure our server with the SPF DNS entry
    • we automatically remove email that return error while sending the email
    • we do unsubscribe users that ask for it
    • we have registered to their snds service: https://postmaster.live.com/snds/data.aspx and we are flaged in the green 95%+ of the time
I still think you can send a fairly large amount of emails without having to pay if you play by the rules.

  7. Stabilty on Microsoft Expression vs. Dreamweaver · · Score: 1

I've been using Microsoft Expression on an ASP.NET site with master pages and custom .NET control and find it usable due to many crashed of the application. For instance switching between code and design mode can crash or just selecting html code in split mode. The application is great in feature and easy to use but need to be rock solid else I will not be able to recommend it at final release.

My opinion is that patent shouldn't exist at all. The base was to protect the small from the big but with all the cost that it's implies (including lawyers...) it's mostly a war for big company. I would drop the entire system and let the company fight for quality, price and services.

    - Email / Browsing
    - Gaming

First impression, wow this is great.
After 6 weeks, my impression have change, Vista (as of currently is pretty crap). I've got multiple reboot, blue screen, IE 7 is having a lots of issue (page not rendering properly, JavaScript error for example Google Spell checker not working properly on IE 7). The search "engine" is not that great, why we can't keep our old *.exe find?

Over that many application not working at all, some desktop application, other are game that just don't launch. Even stable program like SQL Enterprise Manager crash on Vista... :(

Vista new graphical engine is deadly slow too, all is on graphic card but this cause issue like to see the backbuffer when switching application and more. Application are not build like game with "Begin drawing" and "End drawing" so that cause to constantly redraw the screen and see flicker everywhere...

Iwill receive my new portable next week and I will definitely not install Vista on it... for me I agree with the report... I stay with Windows XP for a few years.
