I think the most important aspect of this situation is that this man is now almost assuredly going to become a supervillain. At best he will be a mere "mad scientist", but let's think about it. He is the first man to ever clone human cells. He has been shunned by his peers. He has been publicly humiliated! Am I alone in thinking he is a potential threat to the world now?
Revenge will most likely be the first thing on his mind.
