LOL!!
What a sense of humor. It must be not real in the same sense as world peace or the end of hunger is real, right?
I have no knowledge of this college exam, nor do I care about it. However, Java is a pretty 'clean' language, and fast enough for most purposes. I imagine the average class someone would write for this would compile in seconds.
Just to let you know, JSP actually will let you use other languages as well. It's not commonly implemented, but Resin from caucho.com can use either java or javascript...
However, JSP is definitely slanted towards java;-)
>Bell is still a monopoly in Canada and I don't see Canadians complaining every day how much they suck.
I disagree - my adsl connection has been great with very little downtime. As long as you don't have to talk to tech support (where do they find those people anyways??) I certainly can't complain. Besides, I believe they are/have upgraded the connection speeds to 2meg down/ 512 or so up. (Can't remember where I saw that, on some US gaming site I believe...) After upgrading to win2k from 98 my connection speed has gone through the roof (much better tcp/ip stack). Wish I could convince my better half to go with linux though...
Hmmm... the docs don't really mention much about multihead and what is supported (matrox seems to be preferred). Has anyone tried this with a voodoo 3 card and anything else?? Do most apps work as expected (netscape, gnome, UnrealTournament, Q3)??
I'd love to try it but can't justify the expense without knowing someone has tried this with a voodoo 3 + something else and had good success.
So have you tried it?? I am killing for a G400 for the multihead support - but I don't want to get one without knowing for sure that it'll work with some xserver out there.. I prefer xfree86, but if a commercial vendor supports this hardware first... $$$

It's already been done - www.vmware.com ;-) It's just not faster than native code, that's all.
