Zathras upgrade one PC to Windows 7... very bad upgrade another PC with Ubuntu 9.04 to 9.10... very good Never use Windows 7. Ubuntu 9.10 is the one. Zathras like Ubuntu 9.10 very much because it works!
I would prefer that OSHA stay out of my house thank you very much. Let OSHA into my house and the next thing you know, the whole gov't is in there. It's the old adage, "Never let a camel stick his nose in your tent." Plus I would prefer that OSHA stay out of this altogether. It's hard enough to convince your employer that you can work from home and be efficient and productive.
Merging humans with technology will remove autonomy and free will. Even a slave today still have free will to some degree. You can tell me what to think. You can even brain wash me. But I can still dream.
Zathras was once confined to the larval stages of using Linux. Now, Zathras has emerged from the cocoon of adverse hardware problems, software floggings, and verbal abuse. Linux has become a very good friend to Zathras. Linux has introduced Zathras to many new friends. Must be persistent, patient, and willing to hack. Linux is not hard to use. It's just different. This is good.
Oh yeah, almost forgot... Zathras too went to CompUsa once, very sad...
Zathras only go to Mom&Pop-Computers or Computers-R-Us now. Much nicer folks there. They understand Zathras.
Zathras have over 100 credit hours towards a degree in Software Engineering (SWE). Had to drop out after 4 semesters in a one and ahalf year time span. Zathras, knew going into college, didn't have enough money to finish. Zathras make plan to take all elective requirements (programming, compiler design, operating system design, etc.) first. Plan to return over the years to finsh off core requirments (english, history, etc.).
Zathras been working over 16 years as a SWE. Never finished degree. Zathras make 6 digits now. Looking to retire soon. Zathras has worked double hard to educate himself and work through the years instead of getting all the education done up front. Education is part of life. It continues as one works.
Zathras work with too many degree'd/geeks who think they know all. Only to show them how much they have yet to learn. But Zathras will never discourage one from going or completing college. Must work harder if you do not.
Zathras only say, "Never stop educating yourself. With or without a degree."

This is not good at all. I checked out Metalab myself to see of this was true. And it is.
What does Linus moving to Russia have to do with shutting down the Linux archive at Metalab? That is what they state on the site.
