  3. Competitive Pricing on Time To Abolish Software Patents? · · Score: 0

Patents do not allow competitive pricing. They should end them for good.

  4. American Citizens Listen Up!! on U2's Manager Calls For Mandatory Disconnects For Music Downloaders · · Score: 0

  5. And my friends wonder why.... on RIAA Not Suing Over CD Ripping, Still Calling Rips 'Unauthorized' · · Score: 0

To think that my friends question why I have not bought any music for such a long time. I personally bought a turntable and have refocused my music interest into checking out bargain bins and garage sales just to keep from giving these fuckers one more penny (It's kind of fun too). I really wish that normal everyday people had a way to come together and stand (I mean really stand) up to corporate shitheads.

  9. Has anyone else thought this? on Microsoft Is Sued For Patent Violation Over .NET · · Score: 0

I seriously wonder is M$ considers patents when coming up with new ideas. I mean seriously why waste their legal departments time. I personally see M$ thinking more like thes: Make a product, sell a product, get sued, they still come out on top. I haven't seen a lawsuit take them out yet. Why spend time having the legal department researching patents when they can just have them defend one they stepped on. All in all I am sure the profit from .NET outweighs any lawsuit / fines that will be thrown at them. And in the end it just give M$ a way to make and sell you another shitty copy of their "New and improved flavor of the week" -Ronnie

  10. I totally agree!! on Vonage Admits They Have No Workaround · · Score: 0

Creativity is being crushed just because people are crying "I thought of it first!". There is always a better way to do something, unfortunately you have to hire lawyers just to make sure you don't step on anyones toes. Take a look at the ridiculuos prices I found in a 5 minute google search.. http://www.ipwatchdog.com/patent_cost.html
