I agree with you totally , it was stupid and idotic decision by your management, to me it looks like they were just out of business school. You should have hired indian managers , they would have not outsourced the project.

well wat u expect? We are producing computer engineers faster then your super-computer can generate numbers . We have degree colleges everywhere , even i am thinking of opening , in my house. No need for infrastructure only degree will do. Ofcourse only thing we will teach them will be how to search using google and how to use copy and paste.
BTW,linux ppl should be thankful , $ software company is hiring lots of my fellow brothers.
If you think you are getting less pay , then you can always move to opensource community and always ask for donation rt.
Strange ! , we(indians) thought we took all the project. Damn! i am going to fire my marketing team.
Anyway , we want total world domination , since our govt uses only paper and pen and no computers,so there is no chance of getting any projects from them. Secondly , Nobody buys geniune software in india(yes $OS is open source and freeware here) , so we devlop and sell to USA or europe.
We are also very proud of our democracy and our polticians and there goons,they only want to make india a super-power but without providing basic electricity and water to there citizen .
We also have a very good justice system , a innocent model working as bartender to support her family is shot at point blank range , in front of 40 odd crowd by politician son,when she refused to server him a drink , they all go scot free for lack of evidence. It took seven years for the trial to end,during which her mother dies of cancer and her father suffers heart attack .
Ofcourse , we also blame USA for all the wrong things happening to our country (earlier we use to blame pakistan , but we have became friends now) and blah blah....
The person who wrote the article does not know anything about IT in Corporates or SOHO.
In India thousands small business are joining Open Source revolution , they are fed up by TCO of MS softwares.
Some of the big Corporates have already running linux,i know a company where from manufacturing to ERP is powered by linux.
What the author does not know is that , millions of ppl in china and in india are converting to linux or have converted , its high time he give some visit in these places to know the truth.

We all know that MS does not like linux. So, wat they did was start a GNOME project , funded by them. This way making sure , that any user who uses GNOME,switches back to windows,since he cant do a damn thing in it.
Oh ! ok now even google want a piece of linux,you know why because , linux is becaming most popular desktop, daily i see ppl moving to linux , no matter what obstacle they face initially,in return what they get is freedom from viruses,adwares,malwares etc wares.
If google keeps with the philosophy of linux , i do not mind , but if they try to dictate terms then they can go and fuck themselves.
Google use to be a good search engine(site) , but now it only gives spam,but it is the only search engine(site or watever).
So, wat will happen to other distros, will they loose out to google.
Look like they are going to implement sudo in vista.
Can Sudo author sue them for taking his idea,he is unemployed last time i visited his site.

How will they market vista ? , well first thing they will do is stop supporting XP, and when the new vulnerability comes up , both corporates and home user will have no choice but to upgrade.
Security wise , i hope vista introduce newer programming model call "Advance improved Complex OLE and Advance COM and DCOM" , which BTW only virus writer and visual basic programmers understands and not C programmers.
They can't implement unix security model , because than why pay for it:)
I think they have also implemented strong anti-piracy feature , which will not "allow you to update" if you don't have a "genuine" vista,which is more laughable as it takes one malicious program to make genuine to un-genuine

I am from India. Bill Gates came to India and donated so and so money for so and so purpose. Out honorable telecom/IT minister (yes we have telecom and IT minister , but no telecom) went ga ga over him. Our top english news channel ndtv also went ga ga over him , asking him stupid questions like why there are so few great ppl like u.There were more stupid questions asked but i don't remember it now.Prefering windows instead of linux by indian govt is shameful, wat a waste of my money. Only thing that was left was for our ministers,news channel to take off there pants and bend over.
I really don't know if his donation helps someone.We in india have been getting some big donations since 25yrs,Ministers and NGO's keep getting rich,where as poor keep getting poorer. My real heroes are ppl like Mother Teresa,who dedicate there life to serve the real homeless , sick and poor without even bothering what will they get in return. Her main donation use to come from common ppl and not from the rich.
Donating money is good , but it will not bring or make you more holy or hero.But if you do donate and also spare time to do the dirty work like washing shit,bathing,feeding,comforting etc of a dying man or women then you became a hero.
This is my first post , so pardon my english,also my anger towards my govt , who even after 50 years of independence cannot provide basic utilities like electricity and clean water etc(Yes we only get 12hr of electricity,and ofcourse 3hr of dirty water supply, but who cares,our govt only want to became superpower ).
