I think you need to go back and re-read my original comment. I never made any reference to my personal experiences.
Aside from that, I'm always puzzled by women's tendency to focus on personal anecdotes. What exactly could my personal story tell you which a link to others like it could not? Does the slight degree of closeness make it more emotionally appealing? Do you equate that with somehow being more persuasive?
It's great that you've managed to reduce massive numbers of humanity into broad caricatures which you can hate unreservedly. Such attitudes never turn out badly.
I'm opposed to firing people just because a mob decides to be offended, even when it happens to sexist cunts like her. It would be hypocritical for me to object to it when it happens to people I agree with, but then celebrate it when it happens to someone I disagree with.
But yes, there is quite a bit of schadenfreude in watching the tables get turned.
"They" being who, exactly? You realize that everyone on 4chan is anonymous right? Even if you actually had seen such conversations (and I don't for a minute believe that you had) "they" could very well been the exact hoaxers that he was talking about.
Anything that is merely being said, and not experienced by my own senses, is not real life. All it does, is make you feel bad, about something that is so far out of your control, that you literally cannot even tell if it is real.
Then I noticed, how much of it actually completely does not exist in my world. All those "wars"... raging feminist vs neckbears or whatever americans vs russians refugees vs nazis christians vs muslims you name it. They were just not happening in *real life*.
This is why the US military forced German civilians to bury bodies in concentration camps after WW2. So that they could experience it with their own senses. It seems that, prior to that, they were all big fans of your philosophy.
I know MANY people like me, especially women, who have frequent experience with people calling for their employers to fire them for speaking up, speaking out
assuming that things are yours as if it was a law of nature and not something you have to constantly fight for, is naive at best.
I'm perfectly fine with fighting for what's mine. What I object to is weak-kneed cunts trying to get the state to use force on their behalf. You want my shit? Come and get it yourself. I'll be waiting.
Their whole point is to take as much money as possible, while giving back aslittle as possible.
Right. Which is why Amazon has a gargantuan annual profit margin reaching almost 4%. While those kind, giving folks at apple take in a measly 30% profit.
Most of that is from the sales tax that people pay on purchases through Amazon.
Literally not one single penny of that is from sales taxes people pay on purchases. The increase in sales taxes is on top of the $250 million which Amazon themselves paid.
You should at least RTFA before commenting, just to make sure it doesn't directly contradict the shit you're about to make up.
but we could have told Japan that they could keep all their shit and promise not to attack our interests in the South Pacific again to end the war and they probably would have gone for it
Agreed. We really need more of this in the world. We could get rid of jails completely if we just told criminals to cut that shot out and not do it any more.
If you run for president you've totally got my vote!
As a purely hypothetical example totally plucked out of the air let's suppose people want lots of wool and mutton. And clearly the more sheep you have the more wool & mutton you'll get. So everybody gets more sheep. And then suddenly the land doesn't work any more because it's been overgrazed. And it turns out that 1000 skinny scraggy sheep are worth less than 100 furry fat ones.
As a purely hypothetical question, what the hell are your sheep doing grazing on my land? And if, hypothetically, they're not on my land, then why should I give a shit about how depleted your land is, or how skinny your sheep are? My hypothetical sheep are doing just fine, thank you very much. I'm much more worried about my other neighbour who is working on a synthetic wool replacement than I am about you and your dilapidated farm.
I know it's crazy talk. If it was an actual thing there's be a name for it or a phrase that fits.
I'm pretty sure it's called the tragedy of communism.
That's cool. So running some figures, if the cost of retiring a wind turbine is 200,000, and each turbine is 1 MW, and they have a capacity factor of (being generous) half that of nuclear, then you would need 2,000 turbines to equal the annual output of a 1GW reactor, and they would cost $400,000,000 to retire.
It's not the servers and all that. it's the data, and especially the quality of the data. That requires people. Trained people.
Would you trust your life to the database that anyone can edit, and probably did?
I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but wikis don't actually have to be editable by random anonymous nobodies. This database is already essentially a wiki; one which only medical professionals can contribute to and curate.
I'm not sure what you think it is that I'm proposing, or how you think it differs from what they currently have, so, just to be clear, the only suggestions I was making was that:
1. It can't possibly be significantly more expensive to run on a per-user basis than Wikipedia; and 2. If doctors truly do find this to be a valuable resource then there is absolutely no reason why it couldn't be funded via donations from the users.
Whatever else you've read into my comment is entirely due to your own imagination.
I looked this up in the soon-to-be-gone database, and it says that this is what's known as "projection". Recommended course of treatment is referral to a psychiatrist.
They were deathly afraid of "the mob" having any kind of say, otherwise known as poor and working people having input on their own governance or self-determination.
As well they should have been. Giving ignorant mobs the ability to dictate government policy is a recipe for disaster. In what other field of human endeavour would this be seen as a good idea? Instead of going to see a trained medical professional would you rather have the mob vote on what treatment you receive for your chest pains?
The political system is designed the way it is in order to provide everyone with an opportunity to have some input while at the same time preventing them from destroying everything (or at least slowing down the destruction).

Well if you insist ...
The thing is, it's universal, so why would you blame religion unless you are an ignorant piece of shit?
Terrorist: "Kill the infidels! Allah wills it!"
Western retard: "Why blame religion you ignorant piece of shit?"
It takes a lot of effort to make religious fanatics seem reasonable in comparison, but somehow you've managed it.
I can't say that I don't like it. I am loving it.

Perhaps you could share your experience? The more we know, the better we can deal with it.
Sure, would you like that list alphabetical, or in chronological order?
It's going to take me a while to type up an entire encyclopaedia anyway, so in the meantime here's a little primer for you:

Yeah, #metoo
WHy? Is her computer installed in the kitchen?
How else is a modern woman supposed to keep track of her recipes?

Why are you paying shipping on an MP3 file?
Please. Like any good hipster, he got it on vinyl.

It's so easy to scaremonger with large numbers.
I'm pretty sure I didn't understand what the fuck this was talking about,
It's cryptokitties for baseball dweebs. Like collecting baseball cards but without the cards.
but I am still quite certain that it is completely retarded just the same.
Yep. You know it'll make money though, so "retarded" is more descriptive of the target audience rather than the venture itself.
You know the part where you're saying stuff which has nothing to do with what I said? Yeah, that bit.
As I pointed out to someone else earlier, "wiki" does not mean "editable by absolutely everyone".
Nice try, but they didn't accept your submission. Turns out that doctors don't appreciate your trolling any more than we do.

It's kilobytes, kid.
