The only real pain in the ass is working at a company where those who have power impose arbitrary rules upon all those who have none. You want to dictate what language my team will write our product in, for no other reason than because you want to standardize? That, gentle reader, is not just a pain in the ass, that's a major obstacle to business objectives.

I'd work with this "primadonna" over working at that company any day.
