Some nerds are interested in the financial markets, and some are not. that does not mean that the mainstream "news for nerds" should boycott the interests of those nerds who may not be mainstream.
Of course if anyone asks me, I am not a nerd; i am a geek.

one addition: the x-files site is included in this whole debacle. I was enraged when i saw that i couldn't get to that site, so i decided to disbale javascript on netscape and it let me in with no questions asked.
Has Microsoft taken any action against those corporations who seem to be sleeping with the enemy? It seem like they are taking this type of thing fairly well. -drew
