What makes you think Microsoft has anything to do with this? I mean, come on.... We have a story about google patenting something stupid and somehow it is Microsoft's fault?
it is discrimination against impolite people. You should says "the applicant seemed to not understand the basic principles of logic, do not hire" to cover your ass completely
To really cover your I-did-not-discriminate-bases you should say, "the applicant failed a getting hired check done with a fair 20 sided die, do not hire".
Am I the only one who gets absolutely frustrated that people are still proposing the possibility of time-travel?
This is why I can't party with my theoretical physicist friends anymore.

The "ecosystem" is why I wont buy an iPad or iPhone. I want to be able to decide for myself which software I run on my computer (and dont fool yourself into thinking modern phones & tablets are not computers).
Do you also want to decide for yourself what software runs on the computer in your car? How about the computer in your toaster? Can't something have a computer in it without needing to be customizable?
If you think the LDS is just a kind, charitable organization, you've never been around a large number of them for long. Move to Utah sometime and try to run for office without the right LDS credentials and you'll find out about their charity and kindness, alright.
If you go on record in Utah saying most of the stuff you've been saying here then I'd say your problem (or whoever is running for office in Utah) is that you are offending the people who you need to vote for you. Offending the voters has never been a great tactic to win elections.
