CBCs The National had an interview with the owner isohunt last night. He gave his two cents on the whole bittorrent thing and details on the MPAA trying to sue him.
www.cbc.ca/national for all those interested (until 11pm Eastern time 31/05/06). Realplayer is required (the interview is about half way through the broadcast).
France has also been occupied 3 separate times within the last 130 some-odd years, and is therefore perhaps a little more closed off than you would like. Of course the United States has seen war and all, but has met with relatively little disaster on it's own front (I am not trying to undermine Sept. 11th). Americans seem to believe everything should be done their way and, despite their belligerence, are also fed this idea that bad things simply can't happen to them. Many countries have faced tremendous hardship and, as a result, may seem to be a bit more defensive with regards to foreign affairs (economically and otherwise). It certainly is not done to upset anyone. The French can be dicks and all, there's no doubt there, but they're certainly not unique in being so.
