Face it, not all uses of Open-Source software fall under GPL guidelines.
It's important to remember that major software such as OpenSSH and OpenSSL are licensed otherwise and may be used for proprietary applications.

Oh what a load of horseshit! There are plenty of quality engineers delivering pizza in the United States.
There *used* to be INCENTIVES for American engineers to innovate. Now those incentives exist primarily for H1B's.

Not that it isn't Posix _compatible_ in a lot of areas, BSD is its own universe having been spun off from the Bell Labs nebula.
