my question is, what's the first SP gonna be, a new OS? Will it be Windows 2000 3rd Quarter? If Feb is the release and they have that many bugs, I say Gates needs to sit back down and close all those functions right.
Please tell me where you're gonna hang these. I need an upgrade. Anyways, I agree with most everyone else. Wireless LANs are neat, but slow. If you have the cash flow, fiber optics with media boxes sure are neat. Converts to RJ-45 (TPE) and you're on your way, and you don't have to worry about being too far away.
ok ok ok, now don't get me wrong, but doesn't the iMac come in different colors? Screw those little telephones, who needs a colorful phone? It's the same for the iMac, who needs a color coordinated thing that sits on a desk all day. The laptop is a good idea, if you're a woman. What happens when it's after labor day, can you not have the white shell? I think when computer companies start making thier cases look nicer, they make worse products. Take Compaq for example: first off, they're terrible, but then they make the sliding smoke colored door on the front, and all those imputs there. They did all that, then put AMD in the boards. It's just an example. Here's another: Winblows 3.1x decent GUI for DOS, it worked. Microcrap wants to make it more flashy, so they strap a Start button on and make it more colorful with hiding DOS. Hello? kernel anyone? It's a disaster that's already happened. My advice: Stick to the old grey and black and you won't risk the humilation at work.
