  1. they gotta make their money somehow on Microsoft to Get Tough on License Dodgers · · Score: 1

I guess after all the fines they are / had to pay in EU, they gotta get it back someway. Way to go MS! ::sarcasm::

  2. Re:right..... on Census Bureau Loses Hundreds of Laptops · · Score: 1

Well if that's the case, I retract my statement. I just don't see how that can happen in the first place, then again, I'm not a stupid user who "doesn't know any better".

  3. right..... on Census Bureau Loses Hundreds of Laptops · · Score: 1

I'm sure someone may have mentioned this..... employees had their laptop "stolen". 1100 laptops to go missing is kind of excessive. That's your tax dollars working for you.

  4. Re:idiots on Music Industry Looking for Lyrics Payoff · · Score: 1

ummmm, yea.... My tabs where I get them cost me nothing. Why the hell would you pay for tabs when you have GREAT resources such as www.e-tabs.org. What I had meant was, when will they affect sites such as e-tabs.org.

  5. idiots on Music Industry Looking for Lyrics Payoff · · Score: 1

And they wonder why music sales suck. Besides that there is nothing good coming out anyways, lets just go and make part of listening to music enjoyable, unenjoyable. I know half the part of liking music, is learning lyrics. For me anyhow.... How soon will this affect stuff like guitar tabs? Oh no, there's lyrics in those too, when am I going to have to pay for tabs now? Morons.....

  6. You have got to be kidding me? on Colorado Sheriffs To WarDrive For Safety · · Score: 1

It's always a refreshing day when you can see that law enforcement are wasting our time and money. Thanks guys.

I don't care how computer illiterate some may be. It's in the news, it's in your email, it's online, your friends know about it, your neighbors know about it. Everyone knows how to find out about securing their internet connections. Hmmmm, let me see, Google: securing wireless. Go on ahead and try it.

Not that hard. There are more than enough how to's out there. Even the instructions the device came with tell you how to do it. If your online, you know how to read.

I'm all about darwins law. The strongest shall survive. If your not smart enough to think that it can happen to you. You deserve what you get. If you don't care enough, and someone steals your identity, you deserve it even more for not giving a damn about yourself.

Police shouldn't be driving around, passing out fliers. It's not going to help. People have more 'important' things to do than secure their home.

  7. who comes up with this stuff? on Congress May Consider Mandatory ISP Snooping · · Score: 1

I vote. I know I never asked for the police to have the ability to do this. I just wonder how much more of this is the american people going to take before the "straw that will break the camels back" happens. Seriously, we need to bring home the troops, and figure out what the hell is going on over here. Any moron with a fucking tin can , can steal someones internet. How is isp snooping going to help then. My local subdivision has 30 , yes thirty wide open networks. I can hit about 11 of them from my balcony. How is this going to help anyone?
