There are tons of different security DVR's out there and everybody has their favorite. I personally like Dedicated Micros. If you really have worldwide cameras you might consider going to the ISC west show in Vegas. International Security Conference and Expo http://www.iscwest.com/
There will be at least 50 different DVR sellers there and you can find one that will work well for your application. Besides that its a trip to Vegas.
