  1. First Post!! on Why Windows is Slow · · Score: 1

So apple got out a few more releases. So what? Not to be a M$ champion or anything but M$ is a company that let's face it has got a bigger picture view of the market than the simple nerd shit we are concerned with. I can tell you that the 'temple of linux' and the 'posse of apple' can't even come close to that mountain of M$$$. Maybe one day but now.... umm.... Ok so I wasn't first post. But at least I read the article, took time to think about it rather than go a quick windows bash. 6 years without an upgrade. What am i todo....

  2. Most Likely on Australian Labor Party Proposes ISP Level Filter · · Score: 1

My god!! Kim (pork roll) Beazley has topped his own stupidity this time. But don't worry in the extremely remote, and I mean fucking remote possibility that the ALP actually get in next election it will quickly be dumped. To be honest the country will probally get into so much economic strife that porn will barely rate a mention.

  3. Get over it on Is Visual Basic a Good Beginner's Language? · · Score: 1

There is so much talk on what's a real language, what's not, blaa blaa. I actually think M$ has done well with vb.net. Granted syntax is pretty much all that survived (along with a bunch of add-on's for old timers) Personally I've come down the path of Ada -> C/C++ -> Java -> C# -> vb.net -> as well as a few other wieldo lauguages along the way. I'll say it.... VB.NET is pretty good. Yes VB6 sucked balls but this is not the same environment and it should not be viewed in the same light. As long as you understand how to program and what the hell is going on behind the scenes it holds it's own for the correct application environment. This mentality of real programming really gives me the shits, but I understand it as I was once there. Market forces in rational thinking won me over eventually. Bottom line whatever. I've got a job to do and this tool works.
