Although identity theft is much broader than just unauthorized usage of credit cards wouldn't it seem logical to force a PIN number to be used for all credit card transactions. It seems that the majority of vendors already have the equipment and capacity to allow a customer to enter a PIN for Debit. Why not integrate this into credit transactions? This would be especially helpful for people who may have lost their card or if someone has copied the number.
