Ok lets argue semantics here. We'll change the wording around a bit and see if the results change:
Blackberry OS = 1 company
Apple OS = 1 company
Google OS = 1 company
Windows OS = 1 company
It's not my fault (or google or msft) that they other competitors choose to limit the hardware they put their OS on. So now it is up to the jury: have the results changed?
This is an excellent idea!! I mean, this is how it works in the working world right? If you don't perform, your boss won't get mad; he will recognize that you are trying and automatically give you a 50% for effort (or lack thereof). Pretty soon, if this is not already the case, our education system will be cultivating a bunch of idiotic losers who have never experienced defeat.
I agree. With the private as well as federal sector, anything you develop on the job is considered the physical/intellectual property of the company.
That is great that he developed this software on his own time in his own home. But the moment he brings it in to work to beta test, it becomes the intellectual property of the USAF to do whatever they please with it, including removing the software expiration date.
Now can i get a reference for that company to do some work with some of my microsoft products that will expire soon:)
If the objective of every mission is to crash, then NASA CANNOT fail. What does it take to work for NASA again (I have much experience crashing objects;)
