they are not wrong though. when there is a drought or flood one year, that area will produce a lot less food. And if those climate conditions persist, year on year, its going to get worse, take a look at the poor parts of Africa where they cannot grow anything due to the hot dry weather. What do you think Russia and US will do if their countries are hit badly by changing weather? they'll use their current excuse of "we have the right to protect out citizens" and invade the smaller countries that may be doing well from the changes, a bit like invading the Arab countries to "protect" oil supply.
These scenarios are all possible so its valid to raise the possible consequences of sitting on our hands and doing nothing. And a lot of the consequences will not be realised by a lot of people who do not think/understand/care so its good to bring it to everybodys attention.

how can i make it worse if I know my DNA will not match the crime scene? The only concern would be if they preserve my DNA on a database somewhere if I have volunteered it and I'm not convicted of any wrong doing.

to guess what he looks like will help to give you the 10 people in the shortlist then you match DNA. Police already use artists to create an image so they can create a short list so if this process really works then its another tool in the armoury.
so why do they have police sketch artists and photofit systems? just to please the thriller writers? it is just one added weapon in the armoury, i'm surprised you cannot see this. its not going to convict anyone, the DNA will do that if it matches anyone they find via the sketch

Depends how farming copes with high temps and no water (too much in the way of floods). The only apes that'll survive longer with too much heat will be the ones in buildings with air con but only until the food / fuel / water runs out or war happens to annex other lands where people are more self sufficient.(look what happened during the fuel crisis)

Hurricanes aren't the only form of severe weather. Droughts, storms happening elsewhere can be the "effect" of a lower number of hurricanes in your area.
